I have been interested in genealogy research since I was ten years old. I have always loved to do research. I seriously started researching my family tree and my husband's tree nine years ago. Our combined tree has over 5,400 people in it, and I am still working on finding more ancestors. Our tree has given me research experience in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Ireland, England, New York City, New Jersey, and Chicago.

When Ancestry.com launched its ExpertConnect program, I was part of it from the beginning until the end of the program. The research I performed for clients gave me experience in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Mayflower, SAR/DAR, newspaper, Sweden, Minnesota, and Ontario.

I was able to break through several brick walls for my clients. One of my clients had a half sister that he found out about after his father passed away. I was able to track down information about her and locate her where she lived. Another brick wall I cracked for a client involved a documented colonial family Hayes from Granby, Massachusetts. A branch of the family was left out of published books on the family. By visiting to the Granby Historical Society and going through their vital and probate records, I was to able to prove that the missing branch was part of the documented Hayes family.

I am a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the New England Historic Genealogical Society, the American-French Genealogical Society, and the Connecticut Society of Genealogists. I look forward to hearing from you and discussing your genealogy research needs.
